Notes in preparation for the first meeting tomorrow 8/25

Questions

• During the COLA web refresher project, will our primary objective be transferring everything from Cascade into Pages as faithfully / closely as possible? Or will there be any redesign or revision expected?
• Suloni told me Public Affairs is also a big part of this. How are we planning to coordinate with them, if at all? What is LAITS' role compared to Public Affairs'? I understand if this is still under consideration but I thought I'd ask
• On the admin side of things, how much custom HTML, if any, will be implemented? How closely will we stick to the WYSIWYG features of Pages?
• Is the expectation that we move all existing content from department and college sites to Pages and then turn them over to the individual staff of those departments/colleges to manage and edit themselves?
  • Will there be documentation like the COLA Help Guides for Pages (like Cascade)? If so (and i'm assuming so) what stage in the process will documentation become a factor to consider? Is this later down the line or something we'll be working on along the way
